To receive Certification or License as a Christian Counselor you must fulfill the following requirements:

COMPLETE PHASE I AND II COURSES

  1. Basic Christian Counseling
  2. Temperament Theory
  3. Testing/Measurements
  4. Temperament Therapy
  5. Christian Psychology and Counseling
  6. Ministerial Credentials (Not required if student is ordained, licensed or commissioned minister.)
  7. Mastering Pastoral Counseling
  8. Temperament Case Studies
  9. Co-dependency

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Complete a practicum.  This consists of administering the Arno Profile System* to 25 persons in your community under the direction of an approved clinical supervisor.
  2. Respond, in writing, to 50 ethical questions posed by N.C.C.A.'s National Licensing Board of Examiners.
  3. Submit annual dues of $50.
  4. Provide required documentation.
